Q&A Digital Prints Jacquie Wilson

What is your practice? materials? processes?

I am fascinated by things that happen by chance and love to play with spray paint. Landscapes emerge out of sprayed grasses on canvas and paper while painted leaves grow into abstract panels. I also digitally manipulate original artwork and photographs to create contemporary abstract prints of flowers and landscapes. I am very interested in repetition and much of my work is designed to work in series.

No such thing as a typical day as I puppy walk for Guide Dogs and currently have two puppies (1 year, and 5 months) as well as my own pet dog!

Are you working on anything unusual at the moment?

A series of digital abstractions of roller coasters.

What are you selling at the Christmas Bazaar? Anything new?

Original artwork, digital prints and greeting cards. My art cards are a fairly new product line; these feature mounted prints, ready for framing, presented as greeting cards.
