What is your practice? Materials? Processes?

I am a ceramicist, the materials I use are mainly porcelain clay but also textiles and metal.

Intriguing, Victorian, vessels, printed, contemporary jewellery

Do you have any design heroes?

Stephen Dixon (who taught me to screen print directly onto the clay surface.)

Where is your studio?

Third Floor Studios, Old mill building behind Piccadilly Train Station.

Describe in 10 words a typical day in your studio

Tea, cake, chats, drawing, printing, clay, hand-buidling, kiln, heat, cleaning.

Are you working on anything unusual at the moment? Commissions? New work?

Part of Crafts Council Hot House program 2015. Designing new larger work for later in the year.

Did you exhibit or visit last years SAT?

First year exhibiting at SAT.

What will you be selling at SAT15? Anything new?

I will be exhibiting a selection of small screen printed porcelain vessels and contemporary jewellery pieces.

What venue are you exhibiting at on the trail?

I am exhibiting at Louise Dewsnap’s open studio.
