Where is your studio?

In my garden.

Describe in 10 words a typical day in your studio

Start at 7, dusty long day, physical but rewarding.
Are you working on anything unusual at the moment? Commissions? New work?

The restoration of the Hugh Stawell-Brown statue for the City of Liverpool. Carved in 1860, Toppled and vandalised in the 1980s abandoned in a field for 30 years. New hand, nose, foot and ears.

Did you exhibit or visit last years SAT?


What will you be selling at SAT15? Anything new?


What venue are you exhibiting at on the trail?

I will be demonstrating letter cutting in slate at intervals and encouraging visitors to have a go.
This will take place over the two days ( when I am not talking to visitors )

If you are opening your studio on the trail have you got anyone exhibiting at your studio?

Good question, I have just carved a portrait of actor Bill Owen ( comp from last of the summer wine ) for the people of Holmfirth.
