Q&A Elisa Clare Glass

What is your practice? Materials? Processes?
I am a designer maker who works with kiln formed Glass to create a diverse range of individually handcrafted glass and Jewellery design.

I am drawn to glass for its versatile nature, not only allowing the viewer to appreciate the outside structure but to look deeper inside the object and observe the world that makes the piece. As a glass artist the experimentation of opaque and transparency have been combined to create new and interesting work.

The products have a fresh look into the meaning of kiln formed glass, through the exploration of colour, form, style and surface pattern exploiting the qualities and distinctive surface textures with in the material. With on going development my portfolio continues to expand.
