Did you exhibit last years SAT?
I did indeed! It was great experience and I was honoured to participate in an event with such an amazing array of talented makers and designers. this year is looking just as strong, I am really looking forward to seeing some of the new artists taking part too!
What have you been up to since last years trail?
I have been running a number of workshops, both locally and in London, a few new exhibitions, a number of Art and maker events and opening my not on the high street shop!
Are you working on anything unusual at the moment? Commissions? New work?
I have been developing some new three dimensional wirework skull pieces. I currently have an exhibition over in Merseyside and have my work spread across 2 galleries (Kirby and Huyton) as part of the ‘Crafted’ exhibition. I am also delivering a number of workshops throughout June to the local schools based on my work.
What will you be selling at SAT16? Anything new?
I will have a few new wirework wallpaper pieces as well as my 3D skulls. In addition to some of my bestselling pieces and some new unframed work.
What venue are you exhibiting at on the trail?
I am fortunate that I am at two venues, you will physically find me at the masonic hall, but I will also have some of my work on the walls of Fresh filling too!
What would be your superpower and why?
I think I would like my superpower to be the power to manipulate time! Sometimes I wish there were more hours in the day, sometimes I wish I could just make lovely but brief moments last a lot longer.
When you aren’t working what do you do?
Spend time with the family, go to gigs, eat good food!
Tell us something we don’t know
I once switched on the Blackpool illuminations!
