Welcome back to Sale Arts Trail!
Did you exhibit last years SAT?
Yes I exhibited for the first time last year with Louise Dewsnap Paper artists at her gorgeous cosy home in the centre of sale.
What have you been up to since last years trail?
Since the last trail i have been working on a whole new collection of work including wall pieces and new vessels shapes and larger sizes. I have had a few lovely shows already so far this year i have also been working on pieces for my upcoming solo exhibition at New Ashgate gallery in Surrey which i am really excited about.
Are you working on anything unusual at the moment? Commissions? New work?
I have made some new striped print bottles especially for SAT16, so i am excited to launch these.
What will you be selling at SAT16? Anything new?
All my new vessel shapes and wall pieces, along with my precious porcelain jewellery.
What venue are you exhibiting at on the trail?
Venue E Mitch Canvas Winstanley Road with Rebecca Lawley Silver, Steph Lawton Printed textiles and Michelle Keeling Glass
What would be your superpower and why?
If i could have any super power it would be invisibility, I love the idea of going back stage at the museum without anyone seeing me, into the stores of objects and looking at all the fascinating things stored there, or into the specials collections archive at the central library so look through the fascinating printed and books for years and years ago.
When you aren’t working what do you do?
I love to try new things, i have just learned to rock climb so you will find me trying to make it to the top of the wall.
Tell us something we don’t know
I volunteer at the museum on the object handling table in the fossils department.
